When Haruhiko Kuroda became Bank of Japan governor last year, he introduced what he calls a "new paradigm" in monetary policy to pull Japan's economy out of its deflationary spiral. Can other nations learn from Japan's mistakes? Kuroda, a former president of the Asian Development Bank, has advice.
