Chiyoda to be reassigned to Tokyo Stock Exchange's second section in August

TOKYO -- Bandai Namco Holdings will replace Chiyoda as a constituent of the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average effective Aug. 1, Nikkei Inc. announced on Wednesday.

Chiyoda will be reassigned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange's second section in August. Bandai Namco's presumed par value is set at 50 yen.

Chiyoda will also be replaced by Takara Bio for the Nikkei 500 Stock Average on Aug. 1.

Chiyoda will also be deleted from the Nikkei 225 Global Exposure 50 Index on Aug. 1, but no replacement will be made until Nikkei's periodic review in October.
