TOKYO -- Nikkei and JPX Market Innovation & Research said on Tuesday that they will remove NEC Networks & System Integration, a Japanese network integrator, from the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 on March 10 due to the company being designated as a stock "to be delisted" by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
No company will be added to the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 to replace NEC Networks & System Integration that day. The number of constituents of the index will return to 400 in August when the next periodic review is to be conducted.
