Nikkei 225 to alter price adjustment factor for Mitsui & Co. and 3 others

TOKYO -- Nikkei said on Monday that it will change the price adjustment factor applied to the shares of Mitsui & Co. and three others in calculating the Nikkei Stock Average, or Nikkei 225, due to stock splits by the companies.

The three others are Hitachi, Toyota Tsusho and Ebara. The price adjustment factors will change on June 27.

Since the price level of these Nikkei 225 constituents will stay the same, the divisor will not be changed by this event.
