TOKYO -- Nikkei said Wednesday it will change the price-adjustment factor applied to the shares of Zozo, a Japanese online fashion retailer, in calculating the Nikkei Stock Average, or Nikkei 225, due to a stock split planned by the company.
The price-adjustment factor will be changed on March 28 from the current 1 to 3, as Zozo plans a three-for-one split of its shares. The divisor will not be affected since the price level of the Nikkei 225 constituent issue will remain the same.
