Singapore Exchange to launch leveraged, inverse ETFs in second quarter

SINGAPORE (NewsRise) -- The Singapore Exchange plans to launch leveraged and inverse exchange traded funds in the second quarter as part of a push to grow its ETF business, which currently accounts for just 1% of its securities turnover.

The bourse operator, which added the world's first Asia ex-Japan real estate investment trust ETF to its listings Wednesday, also sees opportunity in ETFs that track high-yielding assets.
