MUMBAI -- It is the end of Cyrus Mistry's relationship with the Tata Group, as shareholders of holding company Tata Sons voted in favor of his removal from the board of directors on Monday, ending the four-month boardroom battle at least for now.
The resolution by the privately held Tata Sons seeking Mistry's removal from the board was passed with "the requisite majority" at an extraordinary general meeting, the company said in a statement.
