PHNOM PENH -- Japanese retailer Aeon has entered the Cambodian retail market with the launch of a giant shopping mall in a city with little international competition.
Aeon Mall Phnom Penh officially opened on June 30. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen attended and expressed his expectations that the mall will play a leading role in job creation and stimulating consumption.
