South Korea triples arms exports in 2 years on tailored sales pitches

SEOUL -- South Korea is climbing the ranks of the world's top defense exporters, propelled by its ability to focus on the unique security challenges facing each potential buyer.

The country's defense exports doubled in 2021 to $7 billion, the Export-Import Bank of Korea reports. They are expected to top $10 billion this year, nearly triple the figure from 2020.
