BANGKOK -- Thailand's first-ever air show will be held in 2027 at the U-Tapao airport in the Eastern Economic Corridor, pushed back from the originally anticipated 2023 date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Having this first Thailand International Airshow will open a new dimension in many aspects, such as promoting Thailand as a center for aerospace exhibition and trade," said Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau president, on Tuesday.
