WASHINGTON -- U.S. venture capital firm 8VC will focus on investing in the Japanese defense industry, managing partner Joe Lonsdale told Nikkei, seeking to pour money into new technologies such as AI capabilities.
"The best way to deter people is to make sure we have the very best new technologies and understanding," Lonsdale said in an interview.
