OSAKA -- Japanese farm equipment maker Kubota has expanded a partnership with U.S. startup Agtonomy, aiming to launch autonomous farming products.

Kubota and Agtonomy have been running field trials of smart pesticide spraying systems in California since late 2024. Going forward, the two will work with dealers to explore the specifics of a commercial rollout in North America.
