TAIPEI -- Taiwan exported more than six times as much rice to Japan in the first five months of 2025 than a year earlier, new Taiwanese government data shows.
Exports came to 7,759 metric tons for the January-May period, the Ministry of Agriculture reported Monday. They are expected to exceed 10,000 tons for the full year, more than two and a half times those of 2024.
