Apple supplier shares up in Taiwan, Hong Kong

HONG KONG -- Shares of Apple suppliers including Hon Hai Precision Industry rose in the morning trading on the Taiwan and Hong Kong stock markets Wednesday after the iPhone manufacturer's shares rose in the previous day's after-hours trading on the U.S. market.

Shares of Hon Hai Precision Industry, the world's largest electronics manufacturing service provider, at one point rose 1.70 Hong Kong dollars, or 1.94%, from the previous day's close to HK$89.50, renewing this year's high, which it last hit four trading days ago.
