NEW DELHI -- Carmakers are rolling out pricier models to win over affluent Indians, as they look to buffer their revenue against an economic slowdown that analysts warn could weigh on growth in the world's third-biggest auto market.
This shift toward more expensive vehicles with state-of-the-art features such as advanced driver assistance systems, better safety tech and more powerful engines was on display at India's flagship auto exhibition, which kicked off in New Delhi on Friday.
