GUANGZHOU -- Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD on Thursday unveiled a new luxury car brand, Yangwang, showing off a high-performance SUV and a supercar that it hopes will attract wealthy consumers.
At an online presentation, the company displayed the U8, a plug-in hybrid off-road SUV, and the U9 electric supercar.
