JAKARTA -- Chinese electric vehicle makers on Friday used an auto show in Indonesia to unveil models as they seek to take advantage of the ambitious turn toward EVs in Southeast Asia's largest economy.

More than 30 mostly Asian companies are participating at the inaugural Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show, organized by the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association.
