Foxconn closing in on EV collaboration with Mitsubishi: sources

TAIPEI -- Foxconn is finalizing a deal to collaborate with Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors on electric vehicles, sources briefed on the matter told Nikkei Asia.

If completed, the arrangement would be a major breakthrough for the Taiwan-based iPhone assembler's yearslong ambition to expand its presence in the EV industry, giving it an established automaker as a key client.
