Philippines' Ayala lands $100m in financing from ADB for EV push

Conglomerate to expand charging network and commercial fleet

MANILA -- The Asian Development Bank will provide a financing package of up to $100 million to Ayala under an agreement announced Monday to support the shift to electric vehicles in the Philippines.

The Filipino conglomerate's EV business subsidiary, ACMobility, has been developing fast-charging infrastructure, targeting such locations as office buildings and commercial facilities owned by group member Ayala Land.
