TOKYO -- Japanese electronics and home appliance maker Sharp has unveiled a concept electric vehicle meant to offer a future style of mobility that turns the car into an extension of the home.
Sharp's EV prototype, called the LDK+, uses a platform developed by Sharp's Taiwanese parent, Foxconn. It takes a novel approach to automaking that combines the functionality of a conventional car and adds value by designing a comfortable, room-like interior.
