BENGALURU -- India's Tata Motors will launch at least four new battery electric vehicles in the next five years as it seeks to fend off growing competition that is threatening its dominance in EVs.

Those launches are part of a broader plan to be producing at least 15 models by 2030, almost double its current portfolio of eight styles, the carmaker said in an investor presentation on Monday.
