WASHINGTON -- Toyota Motor will build the all-new bZ Woodland electric vehicle at an assembly plant operated by Subaru, marking a new chapter in the partnership between the two Japanese automakers.

The new sport utility vehicle will be released in the North American market and elsewhere in 2026, Toyota announced Thursday. It will be a part of the revamped bZ series, the first model of which will be released later this year in North America.
