HO CHI MINH CITY -- Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast has rolled out a new incentive to lure drivers who are still on the fence -- free electricity.

The Nasdaq-listed manufacturer said its customers will not have to pay to use its charging stations in the country through June 30, 2027, in an attempt to give them "more motivation to switch" from traditional cars to EVs.
