Gojek to enter two-wheel EV manufacturing through joint venture

Move follows ride-hailer's scooter pilot program with Taiwan's Gogoro

NUSA DUA, Bali -- Gojek, one-half of Indonesia's largest private tech company, GoTo, is breaking into electric vehicle manufacturing. 

The ride-hailer has formed a joint venture with local company TBS Energi Utama to make two-wheeled EVs, the pair announced on Thursday.
