Isuzu to make executive Shinsuke Minami president and COO

TOKYO -- Isuzu Motors is set to promote Managing Executive Officer Shinsuke Minami to the position of president and chief operating officer, effective April 1, Nikkei has learned.

This is the first change of president for the Japanese automaker in about eight years. The current president, Masanori Katayama, will become chairman and CEO with representative authority.
