Kia aims to sell 1m custom electric delivery trucks, taxis in 2030

SEOUL/TOKYO -- South Korean automaker Kia, part of the Hyundai Motor Group, is focusing on purpose-built electric vehicles targeting delivery and taxi services, with plans to sell 1 million of the customizable EVs in 2030.

Purpose-built vehicles are made to order and can be adjusted in terms of size, interior, load capacity, battery capacity and other aspects.
