TOKYO -- Mazda Motor and Yamaha Motor have been allowed to resume shipments of three vehicle models that had been flagged for improper testing, the Japanese government said Friday.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism lifted the suspension on shipments after concluding there were no safety problems with Mazda's Roadster RF and Mazda2 and Yamaha's YZF-R1 motorcycle.
