Mitsubishi Motors weighs US price hikes in response to Trump tariffs

Increase would be first by a Japan automaker, with costs set to rise $340m

TOKYO -- Mitsubishi Motors is considering price hikes on vehicles sold in the U.S., the first such move by a Japanese automaker in response to the Trump administration's tariffs.

American automaker Ford Motor has already raised prices. Others may follow suit to cushion the blow from the duties.
