HO CHI MINH CITY -- Mitsubishi Motors plans to maintain production in Vietnam despite a current lack of supportive government policies, CEO Takao Kato told Nikkei on Tuesday, saying the market could double by 2030 in terms of unit sales.

Mitsubishi Motors is a major player by market share in Vietnam, behind fellow foreign automakers such as Toyota Motor and Ford Motor.
