TOKYO -- Japanese telecommunications group NTT is investing in May Mobility, a U.S. startup backed by Toyota Motor, to develop an automated driving system, Nikkei has learned.
NTT will invest approximately 10 billion yen ($66.9 million) in the Michigan-based startup, which aims to develop driverless buses and taxis as early as 2025.
