Nissan eyes profitable EV business with new models, technologies

Automaker will launch 16 electrified types by 2026

TOKYO -- Nissan Motor will launch 30 new models globally by fiscal 2026, out of which 16 will be electric or hybrid vehicles, the automaker said Monday.

The Japanese automaker unveiled its business plan for the three years starting in fiscal 2024. The company hopes to raise its profitability while continuing to push for electrification with new models, technologies and partnerships.
