NEW YORK -- Tesla CEO and potential future owner of Twitter Elon Musk said the proposed acquisition of the U.S. social media giant would not impact the electric vehicle maker's operation in China.

The tech billionaire said the Chinese government is lifting COVID-related lockdowns "rapidly" and that will not be a significant issue in coming weeks.
