TOKYO -- Which company is more profitable, automotive component manufacturer Denso, or electronics parts maker Murata Manufacturing? Let us investigate this question using the consolidated operating income for the fiscal year ended March.

Although both companies make components, the two are not often compared. This may change, however, as electric vehicles become more common and the era of CASE -- connected, autonomous, shared and electric -- technologies arrives.
