Stellantis joint venture with China's GAC grinds to near halt

HONG KONG -- The joint venture between global automaker Stellantis and its state-owned Chinese partner GAC Group has ground to a virtual halt, producing and selling just one vehicle in China last month.

GAC announced the dismal figures for GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, a 50:50 joint venture, in a filing on Thursday night to the Hong Kong and Shanghai exchanges, where it is dual listed.
