TOKYO -- Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor on Wednesday launched in the country a new made-in-India compact SUV, taking advantage of its strong manufacturing base in India.
The move comes as Honda Motor has begun importing its own compact SUV from India, highlighting the growing trend of Japanese automakers selling vehicles produced overseas in their home market.
