TOKYO -- Suzuki Motor said Tuesday it will consolidate two auto manufacturing subsidiaries in India, aiming to accelerate decision-making and cut administrative costs.
Maruti Suzuki -- the Japanese automaker's main Indian arm, which operates production facilities in the northern state of Haryana -- will absorb Suzuki Motor Gujarat, which handles manufacturing in western India.
