SINGAPORE -- ComfortDelGro, Singapore's largest taxi operator, is investing $4 million in Israeli self-driving software startup Ottopia, tapping more outside technology in its push toward autonomous transportation.

The investment announced last week leverages ComfortDelGro's $100 million venture capital fund focused on the field. Ottopia offers a system that lets people monitor self-driving vehicles remotely.
