TOKYO -- Toyota Motor on Monday restarted production of three models halted earlier this year at factories in Japan after the auto giant acknowledged irregularities in safety tests.
Toyota resumed manufacturing of the Yaris Cross compact SUV, Corolla Fielder and Corolla Axio in group factories in Miyagi and Iwate prefectures in northern Japan, a company spokesperson told Nikkei Asia.
