NAGOYA, Japan -- Toyota Motor announced Wednesday morning that it had resumed production of Toyota and Lexus vehicles at 12 of its 14 plants in Japan.
Due to a system malfunction, all 14 plants were shut down on Tuesday. The remaining two are expected to reopen by the end of the day.
