JAKARTA -- Apple has proposed investing $100 million in Indonesia in order to restart sales of its latest iPhone in the country, the Ministry of Industry announced on Wednesday.
The government has banned the sale of the iPhone 16 series, arguing Apple failed to fulfill a pledge made in April to invest 1.7 trillion rupiah ($107 million) in Indonesia.
