NAGOYA, Japan -- Japanese logistics provider Trancom will seek to go private in a management buyout with U.S. private equity group Bain Capital, the company said Tuesday, in an estimated 100 billion yen ($706 million) deal.

The buyout will involve a tender offer of 10,300 yen per share, a 41% premium to the Tuesday closing price. The offer period will last from Wednesday to Oct. 31.
