TOKYO -- U.S. investment fund Bain Capital will acquire Japanese aircraft interior maker Jamco for a total of around 100 billion yen ($634 million), including its debt, in another move by the American buyout specialist to bolster its Japanese investments.

Bain will buy stock from existing shareholders, including Japanese trading house Itochu and airline group ANA Holdings, and plans to take Jamco private after completing the buyout.
