TOKYO -- Japanese trading house Sumitomo Corp. is said to be exploring a bid for Seven & i Holdings' supermarket and restaurant business holding company.
The first round of bidding for York Holdings, an intermediate holding company established by the Japanese 7-Eleven owner in October, is scheduled to close Thursday.
