TOKYO -- Fortress Investment Group will draw on its travel and leisure rewards programs to inject new life into Japan's Spa Resort Hawaiians after its buyout of the struggling hotel.

The U.S. investment firm's second tender offer for hotel operator Joban Kosan ended Wednesday, with major shareholders including builder Joban Kaihatsu and Mizuho Bank participating, Joban Kosan said.
