Isuzu truck
Through its partnership with Cummins, Isuzu aim to develop environmentally friendly trucks, with demand expected to rise in areas such as fuel efficiency.

TOKYO -- Japanese commercial vehicle maker Isuzu Motors will collaborate with U.S. engine manufacturer Cummins on the joint development of large truck engines with high environmental performance.

Isuzu has sought to establish separate tie-ups in each of its core business areas since terminating a deal with Toyota Motor in August. The agreement with Cummins is the first such accord, and could eventually develop into a capital relationship.
