Group widens international consulting business with newest deal

TOKYO -- Japan's Daiwa Securities Group purchased Dublin-based mergers and acquisitions consultancy IBI Corporate Finance, Nikkei has learned, expanding its international presence.

Daiwa converted IBI into a fully owned subsidiary this month. The purchase price has not been disclosed, but it is estimated to more than 10 million euros ($10.7 million).
