TOKYO -- Leading Japanese travel agency JTB and airline owner ANA Holdings will partner on charter flights using private jets, aiming to make the service as popular as it is in the U.S. and Europe, they announced Wednesday.

JTB will recommend the charter flights, arranged by ANA Business Jet, to business clients and wealthy customers who want to reach their destinations more quickly. The service will either directly fly passengers from Japan to overseas, or provide connections from commercial flights headed to North America.
