TOKYO -- Japanese trading house Mitsubishi Corp. has entered a strategic partnership with Archer Daniels Midland to gain a role in operating the American grain trader's export hubs in the U.S. and Brazil.

The partnership will boost Mitsubishi's annual grain-handling volume to around 30 million tonnes by fiscal 2030, which represents a 50% rise from the current level.
