TOKYO -- Japan's Sony Group announced on Thursday that it has signed a strategic business alliance agreement with Japanese publisher Kadokawa.

Sony will acquire additional shares in Kadokawa for approximately 50 billion yen ($320 million). That will make it the largest shareholder with a 10% stake in the publisher.
