ISKANDAR PUTERI, Malaysia -- Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday vowed Malaysia would consider feedback from foreign investors as it develops a special economic zone with Singapore that it hopes will boost the nation's status as a regional business center.

Speaking at the two-day Nikkei Forum Medini, Johor 2025 -- held in the southernmost Malaysian state, where the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone is being developed -- Anwar pitched the key project, touting it as an opportunity for overseas investors.
